Trusts and foundations

Sightsavers works in partnership with foundations in the United States to achieve our shared goals. This support is vital to enable us to deliver strategic, targeted interventions across Africa and Asia and the Caribbean to eliminate avoidable blindness and improve equality of opportunity for adults and children with disabilities.

We can develop multi-year or one-off partnerships of all different sizes to suit the needs of your foundation. Our partners either allow us to use funds flexibly across the organization, or directly support a specific program in line with their own strategic goals. In return, we are accountable to our donors and provide detailed reporting as required.

If you would like to find out more about working with us, please contact Julia Strong at jstrong@sightsavers.org or call +44 (0)1444 446703.

Baxter International Foundation

The Baxter International Foundation has awarded a grant to support our Vision Delhi program which will provide primary eye care services to 30,000 visually impaired people in some of India's poorest communities.

Conrad N. Hilton Foundation

We are delighted to announce a partnership with the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation to assist the government of Mali with the elimination of trachoma by 2015.

Higgins-Trapnell Family Foundation

The Higgins-Trapnell Family Foundation, based in California, has been a dedicated supporter of our work for almost ten years.  Since 2009, their annual support of $10,000 has specifically helped us to fight river blindness in Togo.
